HOCKEY INSTITUTE

This program targets male and female Players of all ages from U7 to U18, aiming to elevate player performance through skill development, tactical training, and mental conditioning. 

NIS Hockey Institute is here to bridge the gap in development for players that because of circumstances cannot attend other programs, are late bloomers, or haven't reached their full potential yet.  This program is not intended to replace but to enhance the already great programs available at NIS and citywide.

ATTENTION GOALIES - The NIS Hockey Institute is proud to announce the addition of a new goalie development program.  Based on a successful initiation year with our Hockey Institute, future growth of the program will be enhanced by developing goalies.  So we have put together a goalie development program that is designed by goalies and coached by goalies, for goalies.

U7-17 Goalie Training includes:

*fundamentals like skating, balance, movement, save selection and puck handling

*mental preparation and focus

*leadership from the crease (becoming a great teammate)

Program includes:

*one specific goalie ice per week (limited spots)

*one ice when the goalie works on his skills against players

*personalized for age and skill level from beginner to advanced
