We understand that sometimes a book is so good you just want to hang on to it for a bit longer... or that sometimes a book disappears down the back of the sofa...
Don't worry! If you receive an overdue notice from us, just pop into the library and let us know that you would like to renew the book for a little bit longer or that you're still looking for the book that has gone missing. You can still take new books out of the library even though you have other books that are overdue. We don't want to stop you reading!
We will send you an email reminder 2 days before your book is due to be returned. If you need to keep your book for a bit longer, pop into the library and we will renew it for you.
Once your book has become overdue, we will send you a friendly email reminder. Either pop your book back into the Returns Slot at the library frontdesk, or ask one of our library staff to renew it for you.
You will receive a final email notification from us when your book(s) are more than a week overdue.
If we do not hear from you after that final email, then a letter will be sent to your parent/caregiver.
