The above diagram shows our course design process. We started with a course analysis and finished with developing the course Module pages.
Week 1: Collect and gather learning objectives and topics from different institutions and agreed upon a common set of learning objectives and and topics.
Week 2: Identified module level learning objectives and sub topics, collected and organized instructional materials and resources, identified a OpenStax textbooks, collected and organized activities and assessments, assigned specific modules the faculty, initiated development of the course curriculum map.
Week 3: Continued with the development of the course curriculum map, internal peer review of module design
Week 4: Finalized curriculum map, development of module introductions pages and subtopic pages, initiated Google Site development
Week 5: Continued with the development process, internal team feedback, develop faculty support materials, finalize Chemistry 1 Google Site
