Editor's Note

The Trojan Times  is created during a literacy exploratory called Journalism. Every sixth grade student rotates through this six-week course. There will be three issues each school year.  Each issue will highlight submissions from two terms.

These hard-working eleven and twelve year olds learn so much. Not only do they learn a lot about how to be journalists, but also they learn how to problem solve and work collaboratively with their story teams.
