Volunteer Service Hours

RECORD YOUR HOURS

• • Log your hours on your spreadsheet within 2 weeks of volunteering. Please email us with any questions or special circumstances.

SERVICE HOURS DEADLINES:

(1) A minimum of 10 of the 20 hours of volunteer service must be completed by the end of first semester (January 29, 2024)

(2) A total of at least 20 hours must be completed by May 3, 2024

WHAT COUNTS AS COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY?

• Any unpaid volunteer opportunities sanctioned and publicized by National Honor Society. Opportunities as such will be shared through email, on our Instagram, and in the Google Classroom 

• Any unpaid volunteer work that is done that benefits our community, specific people, or a cause

• Note that International service trips, helping family members, and fundraising for other clubs/sports do not count towards the 20 hour service requirement.
