Using your District-issued iPad at Home for Remote Learning
The directions below give an overview of how a student can use a District-issued iPad to log into TigerID and to access each class’s virtual classroom via Blackboard Collaborate or Google Meet.
Connect to Wi-Fi: Settings app > Wi-Fi
Log into TigerID:
Username: first initial + last name (may contain a number at the end)
Password: specific to the student/dependant upon grade level
If prompted, sign into Securly with NA Google email:
NA email: TigerID@nastudents.org
You will then be prompted to sign into TigerID (again).
Tap Blackboard within the TigerID portal.
Select your Blackboard class (Homeroom, Math, etc.).
In the Course Menu, select Agenda to view the schedule.
In the Course Menu, use Collaborate or Google Meet to access your virtual classroom.
If prompted, select “Allow” for iPad to access the microphone and video.
Unmute your microphone and video until directed otherwise.
If your teacher is using Google Meet, be sure to have the Meet app installed from the Self Service app.
