Specification For Internet Service Provider For North Scott Community School District
NSCSD reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in proposals received.
NSCSD may cancel the procurement or reject any or all bids.
Although these specifications are intended to be complete, some questions may arise.

Consummation of this RFP process is not contingent upon NSCSD being awarded E-rate funding.
Specifications: ISP shall provide no less than 1000 mbps and be expandable up to the maximum potential of the physical connection or the Gigabit Connection of duplex business class of Internet transit. Amounts may increase during the contract period. Please list any restrictions, additional charges, and price per megabit.
ISP shall provide connectivity via two Gigabit Multimode Fiber interfaces.
We have two firewall appliances; one in active mode and one in standby mode.
These interfaces will need to be mirrored.
The termination point must be located in the district network aggregation point
Located in North Scott High School at 200 S. 1st Street, Eldridge, Iowa, 52748.
ISP shall provide bandwidth 24 hours per day, 365 days per year with maintenance exceptions.
ISP shall have network engineering support 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
ISP shall maintain network monitoring capability and notification to NSCSD at the point of any disruption of service.
ISP shall provide a contiguous range of 30 Public IP addresses.
ISP shall grant NSCSD control over DNS services as primary with authoritative control.
ISP shall install all services, equipment and cabling needed in the proposal.
ISP shall guarantee quality of service—minimum uptime 99% per month with minimum of 4-hour response and resolution to problems, with documented discounts given for outages exceeding 4 hours. NSCSD to allow for brief pre-arranged outages during off-hours for vendor maintenance.

Proof that ISP’s E-rate annual SPAC has been submitted
ISP’s written statements to comply with all Vendor E-rate Compliance as previously stipulated.
Pricing
Pricing shall be quoted on a one (1) year contract term. Pricing shall be quoted per Mbps of bandwidth purchased.
Pricing may be tiered for levels of service
(e.g. price per Mbps of bandwidth between 200-300 Mbps, different price per Mbps of bandwidth between 301-400 Mbps, etc.).
Pricing shall show monthly recurring costs and one-time installation costs.
