- This is my twenty-first year of teaching!
- This is my tenth year in the district. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grades before starting to teach grades five through eight social studies last year. I love teaching!
- I earned my undergraduate degree in elementary education and middle school language arts and social studies from Northern Illinois University. My master's degree is also from NIU in literacy.
- My husband works at JP Morgan Chase bank down town. We have three children.
- My oldest son, Jack is twelve and is in seventh grade this year. This is his second year in middle school. He plays soccer, baseball, volleyball, dodge ball, and basketball. He loves football and the Bears!
- Ryan, my middle guy, is ten and is in fifth grade this year. He loves animals, soccer, and playing outside! He plays soccer, baseball, dodge ball and basketball. He also loves going to Bears games.
- My daughter, Anna, turned seven in March. This year she started second grade. She loves to dance, sing, and do gymnastics. She plays soccer, cheer leading, dance, piano, and is in Brownie Scouts this year.
- We have two beagle puppies named Tulip and Daisy. They are adorable and fun but so naughty!
- I enjoy reading, travel, and spending time with my family and friends.
