Homeroom: Students will arrive each day to their homeroom classroom. This is when students will record their homework in their planners, turn in any notes or assignments, and get organized for the day ahead.

Class Huddle: Class Huddle is our morning meeting. This time is used to catch up with one another and dive into our district-wide social and emotional learning curriculum.

Block 1 and Block 2: Students will start the day with either an ELA or Math & Science/Social Studies block. They will then change classrooms for the second block in the afternoon. For example, Student A has Mr. Bender for Block 1 and Mrs. Gruber for Block 2.

Read Aloud: Throughout the school year students will engage in various read alouds. This is a great opportunity to dive into some grade-level texts and work on comprehension skills.

Intervention: This is a time for students to receive individualized supports in reading and/or writing. Students may receive interventions from their homeroom teacher or another teacher in the building. Not all students will have a formal intervention group, but may participate in a wide-range of interventions/enrichment activities during this time.

Specials: Our co-curricular schedule includes music, art, physical education, and library. Students have one of the four specials daily on a rotating schedule.

Lunch and Recess: Students in the fourth grade will all have lunch and recess together.
