ScholarShare is a platform where you can share your ideas, opinions, and creations as scholars! In these strange times, when the coronavirus pandemic keeps us separated and forces us to rethink our personal goals, it can be easy to feel disconnected and demotivated. As young men and women who are at such important stages in your lives, it is important to find ways to keep moving forward and to keep growing as people.
The purpose of ScholarShare is not to give you more "work" or assignments. Instead, it is to give all of YOU, who are talented and creative individuals with your own unique ideas, a different way to express yourselves online. It is completely voluntary!
Whether through writing poems, creating stories, drawing pictures, producing songs, or engaging in debates with classmates, ScholarShare will have a way for you to express yourself and to engage with your peers. Take ownership of this time!
When using ScholarShare, all that we ask is that be encouraging and remain respectful of others. This is not class, but this is not Facebook either.
***NOTE: This site is public, but only JCP students are able to submit.
1) Use the top of the website to go to different pages. Each page has its own "category"! For instance, if you want to submit something that you've drawn or painted, you would go to the Creative Art tab at the top, then click on Drawings & Photos.
2) Right below the introduction for each page, you will see a link taking you to a specific Google Form. Click on that, then fill out the form to submit!
3) What you submit will be quickly reviewed by Mr. Van Etten (Mr. V) just to make sure that it is school appropriate, then it will be posted! If it is not posted for some reason, Mr. V will reach out to explain why, and then you can choose to resubmit.
If you submit at least once within a given month, you will also be entered into the monthly raffle for a $25 gift card of YOUR choice! There will be two winners, not just one! Just a little extra incentive to share with your peers...
