"Keep going—and let your faith be the strength that carries you through."
Hello, dear students and families!
I’m Ms. Polonio—if we’re just getting to know each other, I’m so excited to share a little bit about myself as we start this new school year together.
I’m originally from the Philippines and began teaching there after graduating from Central Philippine Adventist College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English. Since August 2023, I've been happily calling the United States home and am now entering my third year teaching at Noble Academy.
This year, I’m bringing a fresh perspective to classroom discipline—firm, yet always grounded in kindness and care. In my class, you'll notice a lot of green, my favorite color, everywhere you look. I also have a fondness for pencils, and there’s a meaningful reason why. Pencils remind us that it’s okay to make mistakes—because just like the eraser on a pencil, we can always go back, reflect, and make things right. What matters most is learning from those mistakes and choosing to grow. You can always rewrite your story, one better choice at a time. In my classroom, we celebrate progress, not perfection.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me watching TV series, chatting with friends, playing with my niece and nephews, or enjoying quality time with my dogs. In the Philippines, I had four wonderful dogs, and my favorite was Calle—such sweet memories! One of my dreams has always been to teach abroad, so I’m truly grateful that God has given me this opportunity to grow and share my passion in this beautiful journey.
Welcome to a year of learning, kindness, green hues, and endless possibilities. I can’t wait to grow with each of you! ^.^
