Attendance is important!
Please be on time to school/class. You are supposed to be in the classroom prior to the tardy bell at 9:20 a.m.
Attendance must be taken immediately since 5th grade has resource at 9:30.
RESPECT ... for all students, teachers, visitors, just basically everyone!
ANY form of disrespect is not acceptable and could result in a visit to administration and/or detention.
Raise your hand to speak - please do not talk out. This is disrespectful to the lessons being taught and the learning that is taking place.
Remain in your seats until you are given permission. Walking around at will is disrespectful to the lessons being taught and the learning that is taking place.
No eating or gum in class.
This is disruptive and can cause problems with cleaning your space and the classroom.
Keep your hands to yourself. Keep hands off of others and the belongings of others.
CELL PHONES and other electronics are to be turned off and put into the cell phone bin under the board. They will remain there until dismissal when they are passed out to go home.
There is NO exception to this. If necessary devices will be turned in to the office and
parent contact will be made to have device picked up from the main office.
We use a positive attitude and mindset .
We don’t use negative words or actions when we have to do something we don’t want to do. Remember that a positive attitude means you’re willing to learn and grow, even when it’s hard. We do not say "I Can't," we say 'I Can't YET."
Fifth Graders - YOU are the leaders, so you should be leading by example for the rest of the students in the building.
