Tips for Success

Student:

  • Monitor grades online with StudentVue. Click on ParentVUE for details.
  • Use Google classroom for missing assignments. Click on Google classroom for details.
  • Use a student agenda and check over assignments daily. Agendas can be purchased from main office.
  • Bring class supplies daily See syllabus under downloads for list.
  • Turn in work on time. You may turn in late work for partial credit within the marking period.
  • Participate in class discussions.
  • Focus on exam/test study guides if provided by instructor.
  • Get involved in school clubs and activities.
  • Review the district and school calendar for important dates regarding marking periods and other events.
  • Be on time and attend school daily. If absent, bring a note and request make-up assignments.
  • Associate with other students who are academically successful and respectful.
  • Get plenty of sleep and eat nutritional meals.
  • If you have eye glasses, wear them.

  • Ensure your contact information is up-to-date in the student information system/Synergy. This includes your email address to receive a weekly school newsletter and to receive communication from teachers. See school main office to make changes or updates.
