Mrs. Nierman - The Teacher

This is going to be an exciting year and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you! This is my 12th year at Deer Park and my 5th year teaching 4th grade. I love teaching 4th grade as we learn about how our Nation was born through our Virginia Studies. We will also be reading and experiencing exciting adventures as we explore different genres. Writing will also be incorporated as we learn how to express ourselves.

Mrs. Nierman - The Person

I have been married for 40 years and we have two fantastic sons who are married to wonderful girls (one who is also a teacher). We are a Nautical family as we fish, camp, and explore the James River often. I am also a GREAT fan of the beach where Salt air is refreshing and relaxing. I am also a Redskins fan and have been all of my life! I really believe this will be their YEAR!
