AI is Terrible
Did you know that ChatGPT uses over 34,000 watt-hours daily in the US alone and is the leading cause of misinformation to researchers? AI is a terrible source of information and should be stopped.
As well as using up energy and providing false information, big AI companies are stealing people's artwork. For this article, we interviewed a local artist asking them what the range of time it takes to make a good painting is. They said the average amount of time it would take ranges from hours to years of work to make a good painting. AI could do it in seconds by using artists' stolen art styles to generate something that looks similar, and while some people would say that's good, it is zero work needed for the people making art this way. Real artists in our opinion should be willing to learn how to draw, make music, etc. without having a machine do the work for them.
Another reason we think AI is terrible is that talking to a chatbot isn't good for mental health and could potentially give away the recipient's information to big AI companies. It has been proven that chat apps like ChatGPT save your chat and account history to further improve their bots. If this data ever gets leaked, there would be terrible consequences. Also, talking to artificial intelligence for emotional support or help can be extremely dangerous. AI programs tend to side with the user instead of anyone else. For example, if you pasted the transcript of an argument with someone else and asked the AI who won it, 99% of the time it would say that you won. It is important to admit you are wrong sometimes, and being told you are right all the time can lead to narcissism or manipulation from you.
Overall we believe that AI does more harm than good and should be stopped.

Why AI is No Bueno
My thoughts on Ai offering support emotionally is kind of crazy. I mean the way people use an artificial source for serious topics is not good for our upcoming generations and their health alone. This type of topic should be discussed with a trained professional who has been studying it for years in school. AI will eventually take over many daily jobs and put many people out of jobs and will lead to homelessness and many economies around the globe collapsing. Soon it will be the next normal thing for everyone to do anything or ask simple daily questions like what's the weather and other simple questions that can be answered in many, many other ways. The reason I think AI has been used so much is because of social media and people talking online.
