Interested in joining
the Leonard lab?

Dr. Leonard brings students at both the undergraduate and graduate level into the lab as space, resources, and time allows. Dr. Leonard is most interested in mentoring students with a strong interest in coldwater fishes, particularly in the areas of ecology and physiology. Sometimes she can be convinced to work in other areas as well. Check out the Research Projects page for a better idea of what goes on in the lab to see if its a place that is a good fit for you.

Students interested in joining the lab as graduate students will have the most luck by contacting her by email in the fall semester the year prior to the intended grad school start date. Whether there is room in the lab depends on many factors. Further, she will be interested in seeing your transcript and C.V. and will want to hear why you think you might be a good fit for the lab.

Undergraduate students seeking to join the lab can contact Dr. Leonard at any time. Joining will be a function of your interests, your time availability, and if there is time and space available for you in the lab.
