Welcome to 8th grade math.  

This year we will be using The Imagine Learning Curriculum aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.  Your child will have a workbook and also will be required to have a binder. 

Students are expected to review and highlight the lesson summary every night, along with reviewing notes and examples where appropriate.

Grading:

Assessments and projects are worth 75% and classwork is 25% of their grade.  Progress reports will just have assessment grades on them, classwork is calculated for term grades.
