English/Language Arts

Welcome to 8th Grade English Language Arts! Here, you will find a quick update on what's ahead for the week, as well as the corresponding homework assignments. 

This week we'll be working on our dog adoption activity, and HOPEFULLY starting our new unit by the end of the week. Students will continue working in groups at the beginning of the week, which will ultimately lead into them working independently when writing their business letters. They will make several drafts of their letters, then type them up. By Friday, students will begin our new unit, "Latin American Folklore".
