English/Language Arts

Welcome to 8th Grade English Language Arts! Here, you will find a quick update on what's ahead for the week, as well as the corresponding homework assignments. 

We are well on our way in our new unit, "Latin American Folklore". We will continue reading our class novel (in class), completing journal entries, and evaluating point of view, characterization, dialogue, and vocabulary words. We will also be exploring more background information on Latin American stories and folkore in the short reading, "The Latin American Story finder."
