Origins

Rationale for the Name White Hills Academy:

White Hills Academy would be an ideal name for our new school because as our school rises from the ground, students of Hariett Curtis Collegiate (HCC), Bayview and St. Anthony Elementary (SAE) will soar to the challenge of creating a brand new school environment from the ground up. We will soar in our new school just as the White Hills soar above the towns of where the students of our future schools reside. Lindsay Woodford (Class of 2014)

Our team name: Coyotes

The White Hills Academy logo depicts the head of a coyote; the school’s mascot. It does not have its’s teeth bared, which would denote savagery. Instead, it is expressionless, staring at it’s opponents, intelligent yet not barbaric.
