I have been teaching Grade Three at St. Bernard’s Elementary for seven years. This is my fourth year participating in the STEM project.

My class this year has twenty-one students, with two students receiving IRT support for reading and writing.

Sarah Brockway

I have been teaching for 12 years. I am currently teaching Music and Grade 4 at Immaculate Conception School in Colliers. This is my third year participating in Action Research with Dr. Goodnough.

My class this year consists of nineteen students, seven of whom have diagnosed learning disabilities in reading and writing, and receive IRT supports.

Beliefs

We believe individual learners have diverse learning needs. Through the use of the UDL model we believe it is possible to meet the needs of all learners. Students should be provided with opportunities to use their strengths and abilities to communicate and express their learning.
