I love teaching Grade Two at Morris Academy!
I have a Bachelors degree in Primary/Elementary Education as well as a Masters degree with a focus in literacy. Both degrees were completed at Memorial University.

My teaching career began in South East Bight on the Burin peninsula. St. Anne's school consisted of grades Kindergarten to Grade Ten. There was thirteen students in total when I taught there. I taught multi - grade K - 3 as well as music and gym for the whole school. I also have taught at Stella Maris Academy in Trepassey. I taught multi-grade K - 3 and led a drama program. I loved teaching at both of these schools however, I am originally from Mount Pearl and always dreamed of settling close to home. From 2011 to June 2020, I had the pleasure of teaching in the beautiful town of Torbay. In my time there I taught Grades 1 to 3.

Singing and playing guitar are my favorite things to do. I also love to hang out with family and friends, run and go to the cabin whenever possible. My husband, Matt and I have been married since 2015 and have a sweet little boy, Hayden at home. He is the light of our lives! :)
