Vaping is rampant in our community, and most often we hear that it's "no big deal" it's "not addictive" and "my parents know, so it's okay." Here are some resources for families to show the effects of vaping on youth, where you can learn about the subculture of vaping. Please take some time to discuss with your child.
Vaping on school grounds means a suspension. Repeated offences means lengthier suspensions, as vaping poses not only a health risk to your child, but also to those around them. We are a scent aware building, and vape causes breathing difficulties in not only those participating, but also those who are exposed to the vapour secondhand.
