Arbor Vitae was established in 1893

At the beginning Arbor Vitae was a mill town then became a town with known and used for its natural resources. After people used most of the resources Arbor Vitae had to offer they moved on toward other places. After that resorts and family homes came up and then it became a place for vacations and somewhere for families to live.
