LSAT Prep Scholarship

LSAT Prep Scholarship

Please check back in early Spring 2024 for the 2024 Scholarship application.
The Black Law Students Association of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (NU BLSA) is pleased to again announce our BLSA Student Ambassador LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship. This program has been made possible with the generous donations of our sponsors this year: Manhattan Prep, Blueprint LSAT Preparation, and PowerScore Test Preparation.
NU BLSA’s mission is to increase cultural awareness, offer educational events, and provide employment opportunities for members of the Association and the surrounding university communities in Chicago. We strive to provide a forum for the discussion of various topics which concern Black culture. We also aim to serve as a support network for Black students, and to foster social interaction between Black students and students interested in Black culture.
This scholarship program is intended to assist Chicago undergraduate students who are interested in attending law school and committed to NU BLSA’s mission in being well prepared to take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). In addition, each scholarship recipient will serve as a NU BLSA Student Ambassador. Serving in this role, NU BLSA Student Ambassadors will have opportunities to network with current law students, law professors, and legal professionals, and will be responsible for connecting NU BLSA with members of the Black community at his or her respective undergraduate university.
NU BLSA will award scholarships, not to exceed the amount of $1,500, to selected students to attend an LSAT Preparation Course offered by one of our LSAT Prep Course Sponsors. Additionally, each NU BLSA Student Ambassador will be honored at our annual NU BLSA Alumni/3L Banquet In Spring 2024.
The application selection process will not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, national origin, or any other characteristic prohibited by law.
All applications materials must be submitted in ONE SINGLE PDF. Further details about the application will be released later.
