This site provides specific disease prevention and control guidelines which are consistent with the national standards put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American Academy of Pediatrics, and American Public Health Association.
This site is a tool to encourage common understanding among schools, daycares, congregate care facilities, and community members about infectious disease concerns in group settings. The disease specific pages are focused on providing information for child care facilities, schools, and parents/guardians of child care and school-aged children.
