Reporting Diseases
Reporting of diseases is most often done by healthcare providers after the diagnosis of a disease.
Schools and child care facilities should call NKY Health to report any outbreaks (2 or more cases of a similar illness). NKY Health can also help provide specific guidance to help providers respond to illness in their facility.
For information on disease reporting including how to contact the NKY Health Epidemiology Department, visit our reporting page.
Exposure Notification Letters
