At Nevada Union High School, the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department is all about creativity, expression, and unforgettable experiences!

In the Visual Arts, students can immerse themselves in Art, Photography, and Ceramics. Our student artists don’t just create for the classroom, they get to showcase their work in our on-campus art gallery and even in community gallery exhibitions. From exploring museums filled with inspiring art to learning from visiting artists and teachers, students are encouraged to grow in their artistic skills and creativity.

The Performing Arts at NU include Band, Choir, Dance, and Theatre. From concerts and plays to dance showcases, students have countless opportunities to perform. Guest musicians, choreographers, and teachers bring real-world expertise straight to the stage, enriching the learning experience. Students share their work with local schools, attend professional productions, and even take the stage beyond Nevada Union, gaining a true taste of life in the arts.
