The geometry is made within the ModelDesigner from the ANSYS Workbench. A new material is chosen as Buckling Steel for the geometry.
The options are chosen to make the mesh as dense for better results. In the end a reasonable mesh is obtained.
The sides are constrained as simply supported
The top surface of the geometry is applied the pressure of 1 MPa.
Equivalent Stress obtained within the plate.
Total Deformation caused within the plate.
The results from the Static Structural Analysis are included pre-stress for the Eigenvalue Buckling Computation.
Graph obtained for the Buckling Analysis which represents the Critical Load Multiplier which caused the most deformation which is used to make the Total Deformations.
