Here you have a chance to view some of my top designs, renderings, and, manufactured products. This portfolio is designed to showcase my abilities across multiple software platforms and manufacturing processes.
Engineered, designed, manufactured, and assembled automated machine which corrects manufacturing flaws of medical implants. This machine utilizes lasers to scan the flatness of the implant's edge and bends out of tolerance sections. This machine is capable of manual or automated loading of implants with the integration of a robotic arm.
This head strap was an iteration of a pre-existing design. My iteration simplifies the assembly and manufacturing by reducing six individual parts to one. A connected tab is meant to fold over and double the thickness of the strapping buckle while the other side is matched up to create the front shield connection and the forehead strap. This design is being manufactured by laser-cutting and injection molded to produce over 20,000 face shields for local hospitals and medical practices.
This machine was designed to accelerate the assembly of NJIT's face shield headbands and shields. The two parts are interlocked with T-tab-style connectors. The pneumatic piston pressed the T-tabs through the face shield in one swift motion. The pneumatic system includes a regulator for fine adjustments. The entire machine was designed to be manufactured with a waterjet, 3D printer, and laser cutter. This machine replaces two stages of the previous assembly line with just one, drastically reducing the production cycle times.
