About the First Seminar
Accreditation and Academic Excellence: A Roadmap for Viksit Bharat @ 2047
This inaugural national seminar, the first in the series, is designed to convert quality intent into measurable results across institutions. It will demystify NAAC/NBA expectations, align programmes with NEP 2020 and Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and show how to build credible evidence - without excessive paperwork. The day blends a policy-grounded keynote, Indian case stories of campuses that improved fast, and quality plan for department or institution.
There will be live experiences of ready-to-use templates (self-audit, CO–PO mapping, SAR/SSR evidence lists, rubrics, dashboards), an adoption checklist, and a simple governance cadence (monthly reviews, KPIs, risk logs) to keep improvements on track. The focus is practical: teach better, assess better, support students better, and document what you actually do - so accreditation reflects real learning and employability, advancing the larger national mission of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
Objectives
Demystify NAAC/NBA requirements and show what credible evidence looks like.
Align programs with NEP-2020 and OBE (PEO–PO–CO design, mapping, and attainment).
Improve teaching - learning and assessment through practical, low-effort reforms.
Strengthen IQAC systems: KPIs, internal audits, review cadence, and documentation.
Build faculty capability in curriculum design, rubrics, research ethics, and mentoring.
Boost student success: internships/apprenticeships, projects, employability and startup pathways.
Enable digital quality practices: LMS use, ABC, learning analytics, dashboards.
Plan quick upgrades for labs, safety, accessibility, and green-campus metrics (energy/water/waste).
Foster industry–academia partnerships (MoUs, CSR/PPP) for projects, training, and placements.
