The Viksit Bharat Series is a year-long, monthly national seminar initiative by the Department of Technical Education and Management, NITTTR Kolkata to turn the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 into visible results. Each online seminar is open to all and follows a practical learn → apply → adopt flow. The series converts policy into simple toolkits for institutions, states, and districts - moving from talk to tasks. It launches on 21 Nov 2025 with “Accreditation & Academic Excellence: A Roadmap for Viksit Bharat @ 2047,” followed monthly by themes like Industry 4.0 & AI, Digital Public Infrastructure, Women-led Development, MSME & Startups, Green Campuses & Net-Zero, Water Security, Smart Manufacturing, Health-Tech, Agri-Tech, Future-Ready Cities, Governance for Scale, and Indian Knowledge Systems. The goal is change citizens can feel - better jobs, cleaner cities, stronger schools, safer water, thriving MSMEs, and greener growth - through small wins every month on the path to a developed India by 2047.
The inaugural seminar in the Biksit Bharat Series is based on the Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education.
