All participants are requested to carry warm clothes to cope with the harsh winter in Jalandhar.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar (NITJ) is located on the GT Road, Amritsar Bypass. There are mainly three ways to reach NITJ.
Air: Closest Airport to NITJ is Amritsar Airport. From Amritsar Airport, one can take a taxi or bus from Amritsar Bus Stand.
Road: NITJ is approximately 15 kms from Jalandhar Bus Stand. People coming from areas near Jalandhar can opt to reach NITJ via bus. Buses to Jalandhar are readily available from Chandigarh, New Delhi, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
From Jalandhar, one can take an auto-rickshaw or cab service to reach NITJ.
If one could not find direct auto for NITJ, then one can reach Maqsudan bypass first and change the auto.
One can take a shared auto-rickshaw for Rs. 70 or a personal auto-rickshaw for (Rs. 150 - Rs. 250) to reach NITJ.
Rail: There are two railway stations near NITJ
Jalandhar City Junction (11km).
Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station (16km).
One can take a shared auto-rickshaw for Rs. 70 or a personal auto-rickshaw for (Rs. 200 - Rs. 300) to reach NITJ.

The institute is located on the G.T. Road, Amritsar bypass at a distance of 15 km from Jalandhar bus-stand, 11 km from Jalandhar City Junction railway station and 16 km from Jalandhar Cantt. railway station. It is at a walking distance of one km from Bidhipur railway crossing. Auto-rickshaws and taxi services are available from the railway station and the bus-stand.
