The research done by members of the Cosmology & Gravity Group at North-West University forms one of the research sub-themes of the Centre for Space Research.
Our work spans modified theories of gravity, dark energy and dark matter, cosmological perturbations and large-scale structure formation, black-hole physics, observational tensions in cosmology and the epoch of reionisation.
The group brings together academic staff, extraordinary (visiting) members, postdoctoral fellows and postgraduate researchers from a range of countries, and works closely with national and international partners. Prospective honours, master's and doctoral students interested in cosmology and gravitation are welcome to get in touch.
