The equipment is capable of performing Friction Stir Welding, Friction Stir Processing, Friction Stir Surfacing, and Additive-Based Deposition. For Additive-Based Deposition, the required deposition path planning must be done by the user using "AutoCAD" prior to visiting the laboratory for the final fabrication.
