Srinivasan Chandrasekar is a Professor in the Schools of Industrial Engineering and Materials Engineering (courtesy) at Purdue University, where he also directs the Center for Materials Processing and Tribology. His research and teaching interests are in manufacturing, materials processing, fracture, and tribology. The current research focus is on chemomechanical effects in surface plasticity and environment-assisted cracking; forming of plant leaf materials for food ware; machining-based methods for the production of specialty metals for energy applications; and evolution of surface topography in manufacturing processes.

Dr. Satish T. S. Bukkapatnam is a professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his PhD in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from Penn State in 1997.
