The meet will be conducted in accordance with SEASAC rules and regulations.

Minimum number for full SEASAC participation points is 4 girls and 4 boys.
Maximum squad size is 20 swimmers,
Each team can enter a maximum of 10 swimmers per gender.
A Team Manager and Head Coaches meeting will be held prior to the start of the competition on Wednesday afternoon.
Protests and scratches can be submitted by a team coach to the Meet Director. No parental queries will be permitted. There will be a 30-minute time limit for protests following the posting of official results as per World Aquatics rules.
Electronic timing will be used for the meet, along with TSA officials
The meet will be run in SCM (25m) format
The meet will be run as a Finals and Timed Finals meet
Over-the-top starts will be utilised
The Meet Director reserves the right to change the meet at any time
Results will be available via Meet Mobile throughout the meet and provided to the Head Coach of each Team following the meet

In the event that a swimmer is forced to withdraw following
Points will be awarded as follows:
Individual Events 1st – 16th (18, 16, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)
Relay Events 1st – 16th (36, 32, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2)
Medals will be awarded in Individual and Relay events for 1st to 3rd places
Awards will be presented to the top point-scoring team in each age group and gender
Trophies for swim meet will include:
Overall boys team,
Overall girls team,
Top 3 point-scorer for boys and girls.
Male and Female Swimmer of the Meet (Based on the highest World Aquatics point scoring performance in an individual event)
Certificates will be given to new record holders
Age as at the first Day of the Meet (27 February 2025)
Swimmers must be 13 Years and over
Swimmers are limited to 4 individual events and 6 relays.
Schools are permitted to enter any number of swimmers into the same event, providing the individuals do not exceed their maximum.
50m and 100m Events will be swum in Heats/Finals format, with A and B Finals
As the B Final impacts the scoring, swimmers are encouraged to race hard in both heats and finals. B Final times will not however ‘jump’ times from the A Final in final scoring.
Events 200m and longer will be swum as Timed Finals
Entries must be submitted with an Entry Time, NT's will not be accepted
No changes to entries will be accepted following the release of the Psych Sheets
In the event that a swimmer is forced to withdraw due to Injury/Illness, only the replacement swimmer(s) entries may be changed. No other swimmers' individual events can be edited at this time.
All relay swimmers must be named when submitting entries. You can change your relay entries up until the conclusion of the warm-up for the session within which the relay will be swum, provided no swimmer then exceeds their total number of allowable swims.
The highest-placing relay team will score (not necessarily A team if there is a DQ or poor performance).
The final heat of all relay events is composed only of A teams, even if a B team has a faster seed time.
Swimmers will be required to marshal 2 events in advance of their event, failing to do so will see swimmers withdrawn from their event.
Swimmers competing in the first event of the session will be required ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled start of that session.
Once reported, a swimmer is not permitted to leave the marshalling area unless approval is first obtained from the marshal.
Once swimmers have reported to the Marshal they must remain in the Marshalling Area until directed to their starting positions by the Check Starter. Failure to remain in the marshalling area may result in the swimmer being removed from that event.
Parents are not permitted to enter the marshalling area at any time, if a parent is found to be in the marshalling area their swimmer will be removed from the event.
A coach from each participating team must be present in the marshalling area at all times to support the marshals.
Teams will be allocated rest areas in the Sports Halls on Level 1 of the Sports Building

There will be limited spectator seating for parents around the pool deck, with the meet also being live-streamed to the Sports Hall.
Parents are asked to utilise the Team rest areas, when not watching their children swim as this will allow all parents to watch their children from pool deck.
In the situation where we experience lightning and rainstorms, if we have a lightning strike, the NIST Lightning policy and associated alarm system have a 30-minute minimum stand-down period following a strike within 16km of campus.
Outdoor activities at NIST are dictated by the NIST Air Pollution policy. NIST has an Air Gradient monitoring system throughout the school and will adhere to the NIST Policy regarding activity throughout the duration of the Championships.
There will be an Ambulance, First Aiders and the School Nurses on duty throughout the tournament schedule. However, it is imperative that all competitors have insurance coverage and that this is available for presentation if hospital treatment is required. Responsibility for any hospital treatment and subsequent payments lies with the visiting schools and will not be accepted by NIST.
Coaches will receive security badges to enter the NIST campus. Teams are, however, individually responsible for their own valuables.
Teams will receive coupons for each participant for lunch each day of competition, while Dinner will be provided for swimmers and coaches on Saturday evening.
There will be Food & Beverage vendors on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Additionally, schools should ensure that athletes bring a water bottle that they can refill when required at the venue.
Schools and Team Leaders remain responsible at all times for the supervision and behaviour of their teams/athletes while on campus at NIST.
