Friendship Lunch Bunches

Friendship lunch groups are provided for students who may need support with socializing and working in groups and are run by the school social worker, Deb Shephard or the school psychologist, Dr. Beth Sabourin. For some of the groups, we will be using peer models and students may be invited to provide positive role-modeling for the group. Parent or teachers may refer a student for this type of support and intervention when they are noticing challenges with managing peer conflict; initiating peer interactions; or handling emotions in the learning or social environment. Parent/guardian permission and consultation is always obtained prior to enrolling a student in a group.
