Nightly Homework
Students will receive homework when they are ready to practice a skill independently. If your student is struggling with homework, please communicate with me so that we can develop a plan for growth towards independence.
Additional Practice
You can also have your student practice math skills on IXL which can be accessed through the ClassLink.
Reflex Math and Xtra Math can be used for practicing math facts.

English Language Arts
Reading
Students should read for 20 minutes every night. It is still acceptable to read to your child and with your child. Sharing a love of books is the best way to foster positive reading habits.

Word Wizard Words
Help your students become word wizards by practicing our words at home. Word Wizards find our words in books they are reading, use our words when writing, or use the words in a conversation. About 4 words are added each week and are chosen from the text we are reading as a class.
