Shubham was born and raised in Balasore, Odisha. He completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry in 2019 from Bhadrak Auto. College, Bhadrak, under the affiliation of F. M. University and M.Sc. in 2021 from University of Delhi, Delhi. He qualified JRF-2022 (Rank-92), GATE-2021 and GATE-2022. He joined as a junior research fellow in January 2023 in Dr. Ponneri C. Ravikumar’s lab at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar. He likes to play cricket, badminton and loves listening songs. Currently, he is working on transition metal-catalyzed C-H and C-C bond activation. He likes to play badminton and cricket during his leisure.
