Ms. Amundson

Ms. Julia Amundson is very excited to begin her teaching career as a Singing Wildcat! She graduated in December 2025 from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Choral Music Education. She is a firm believer in the idea that all students have the right to a meaningful musical experience, and that in choir and in life, every student's voice matters!

Ms. Amundson loves teaching choir, and she loves singing in choir, too! She sings in professional choirs around the DFW metroplex, and has even gone to Duke University in North Carolina for a choral summer program.

When Ms. Amundson is not teaching or singing, you can probably find her hanging out with her cat, reading a book, or trying a new recipe. She is looking forward to a great year of music making at Wilson!
