Mrs. Harston

Mrs. Gina Harston is excited to raise her baton and begin a new year at Wilson Middle School as the Head Choir Director! With 25 years of experience teaching choir students in grades 6–12, she loves helping young singers find their voice, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.

Mrs. Harston believes the choir room should feel like a family where students are encouraged to grow, take risks, work hard, and have fun along the way. Whether preparing for performances, learning new music, or sharing lots of laughter during rehearsals, she is passionate about creating meaningful musical experiences for every student.

In addition to teaching in public schools, Mrs. Harston has spent many years leading church choir ministry and directing annual children’s choir programs. Music and worship continue to be an important part of her life both in and out of the classroom.

Outside of school, Mrs. Harston enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two daughters, Abigail and Naomi. This fall, Abby and Naomi will begin their own journey toward Wilson at Sendera Ranch Elementary!

Mrs. Harston is thrilled to join the Wilson Middle School family and cannot wait to make music, memories, and a little harmony with her students this year!
