It takes a lot of money to run a choir program! We love to do fun things for the students such as take them to contest (which costs money) in a bus (which costs money), sing new music (which costs money), and have social events with food (which costs money). Students have already paid for a tshirt and supplies, so now they have an opportunity to raise the rest.
Catalog items will be sent to the school for students to pick up after school one day. Online orders will be delivered to the customer who placed the order.
We do not have a specific date, but it will likely be late November or Early December.
Students who sell 15 items will get on the list to go to the Cowboys Stadium. These students will also need to be academically eligible on the second or third report card. We are looking at dates to go in November, December, or January, and we will share that date once we have confirmed with the company.
Students must have passing grades on their report card. This is required for students who leave campus during the school day. Passing is defined by Texas UIL policy as 70 or above in all classes (60 or above in Pre-AP) on Report Cards. There are some grace periods where you can regain eligibility at the progress report, but it will depend on when our trip is. Stay tuned for more information!
Students and families do not have to participate. This is a completely optional (and completely rewarding) program. If you would prefer to make a donation, you may write a check to Tidwell MS Choir with "donation" in the memo line. Donations can also be made online; $20 = one item sold which toward prizes!
