NISD values feedback from families, staff, and students as we make thoughtful decisions about student technology use. This dashboard shares survey results related to student device use, screen time, and technology-supported learning to help our community understand what we heard and how that feedback is informing our next steps.
Based on survey responses, our community is not asking for technology to be eliminated; they are asking for more intentional technology. As students progress from elementary through high school, the role of technology should shift from supporting foundational skills, to maintaining engagement, to preparing students for life beyond graduation.
