Texas has a 90% RULE when it comes to "Seat Time"...
- This rule states that a student has to be in a class at least 90% of the time in order to earn credit for that class.
- This counts both EXCUSED AND UNEXCUSED absences.
- If a student misses more than 10% of school days, he or she must make-up that seat time by attending before/after school or Saturday School.
- These opportunities are scheduled with the assistant principal.
