We are students who are eager to do something we’ve never done before, to be appreciated for our hard work, to showcase our abilities, and to have TONS of FUN in the process!
We are starting on our paths to becoming doctors, lawyers, politicians, professional athletes, actors, musicians, architects, and anything else we want to be.
We are the largest group of friends you could ever have in middle school!
We are YOU!

In 6th grade, there is minimal extra-curricular time commitment. There are 2 major concerts each school year and typically two before-school rehearsals prior to each concert. All concerts and social events are announced at the start of the year to help band students and families plan ahead. Check out the current band calender to get an idea of a typical year in band.
Contact us! There are some low-cost options available for getting an instrument. Don’t let this be a reason to keep you from joining the band program. We can help you.
Absolutely! There are accommodations available for practically every student interested in being part of the band. There are plenty of students in band who wear braces or have asthma. In fact, playing a wind instrument can be beneficial in the strengthening of the lungs!
Absolutely not! While a background in piano or another instrument can be helpful to a student’s understanding of musical concepts, it is not necessary to have prior knowledge or training. Most of the students in the Adams Band had no music training outside regular 5th grade music classes.
Yes! In fact, the majority of our band students participate in higher level classes. And most of them participate in football, volleyball, basketball, etc. in addition to that!
