Communicate and involved in construction and completion of the V.R. Eaton Performing Arts Center and the Eaton High School Fine Arts Complex. Worked alongside Pogue Construction, Texas Scenic, ETC, facility acousticians, and contracted architects and engineers to complete the construction and opening of our fine arts complex.
Schedule and participate in annual facility rigging inspections. Annual rigging inspections are part of federal law. I have experience in what is needed in order for rigging inspection to pass and what systems are the best technology for any theatrical space requiring rigging. Additionally this provides direct contacts for facility rigging that other theater directors may not have.
Trained in the FACILITRON managing system used for scheduling and rental of our fine arts facilities.
Trained and proficient in AVIGILON Security Camera software.
Communicate with the media through the NISD communications department.
Communicate with NISD facility maintenance department through FACILITRON WORKS as needed.
Designing, planning and implementing safety training for all programs using the facility and head of the safety and security team for the PAC.
Communicate and involve in two construction phases one for an additional building and the other an audio and lighting upgrade. In both cases I was the main point of contact with Pogue Construction, Infinity Sound, AV Pro, ETC, Digital Resources, and Epicenter Productions.
Responsible for designing and implementing a PAC rental agreement packet providing clear communication regarding the use of the facility.
Responsible for hiring and managing temporary employees hired to work events in the PAC.
Making sure the PAC facility is up to current ADA and safety codes.
Created and implemented aggressive training on all areas of the facility for the faculty and students that use the facility.
