Who I Am

My Why

Teaching is more than a career to me, it is a passion. I was created to be an educator and fulfill the purpose of building strong relationships so learning is relevant, valuable, intentional, and purposeful. Making a difference in the lives of kids, colleagues, and the community is what I am always striving to do.

My Education

I grew up in the Fort Worth area and attended Haltom High School. After graduating, I was given a scholarship to attend Tarrant County College as a part of their Cornerstone Program where I earned an Associates Degree in the Humanities. I then attended Abilene Christian University where I studied Education and earned my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Reading. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Educational Administration through Lamar University. I look forward to making a difference as an administrator.

My Family

My family is my true love.

I have been married to my husband, Paul, for 19 years. He works in the healthcare industry. We have three daughters who are our pride and joy! Gracie Claire is 16 and a sophomore in high school. She is extremely involved in theatre and also loves to read and sing. Sydney is 14 and is in the 8th grade. She plays violin, sings in the choir, and is a student trainer. Molly is 12 and a 6th grader. She sings in the choir, is involved in theatre, and loves to make people laugh.

As a family, we love to travel to new places, eat out, and watch Netflix. We also love to go camping, snorkel, and spoil our Goldendoodle, Auggie.

We love Jesus and our church family and always look for ways to serve and bless others.
