Letter To Presenters
Dear All
Al Nibras International Bilingual School is hosting the PEAK conference in 2020 under the theme of “Inclusion is a way of life”. We would like to invite educators, administrators, support specialists, counselors, and therapists to submit their presentation proposals and participate in the success of the PEAK 2020 conference.
Your presentation will contribute in creating and sustaining real change, and ensuring we are all building systems and communities that meaningfully value inclusion.
Please use the resources below to help you prepare the best proposal possible.
Proposals will be accepted until December 10, 2019.
Areas of focus/Topics:
We encourage presentations/workshops addressing topics including but not limited to:
- Models of inclusion
- Full, or Partial inclusion
- Structure of direction and development

The duration of the sessions is 50 minutes. They should be engaging, interactive; workshop designed, and equip participants with evidence-based information and knowledge.
Kindly fill out the Proposal Form. Presenters of accepted proposals will be notified by Jan. 12, 2020.
Extra information to know as a presenter:
Registration Deadline for presenters is Dec. 10, 2019
- If a staff member is presenting, the representative will register him/her as a presenter.
- Presenters are registered for free.
- Presenters will fill out the online workshop proposal form:

December 10, 2019. Presenters of accepted proposals will be notified by Jan. 12, 2020. Sending the PPT presentation to PEAK 2020 Committee is optional.
- After approval, presenters need to confirm their commitment to attend as presenters via sending an e-mail through their school representatives.
- The presenters will be responsible for having their presentations on their laptops and on a USB on the date of presenting.
- Schools are encouraged to register a minimum of one presenter for every 10 participants.
- Participants may submit more than one proposal for presenting.
- Presenters may present more than one workshop or the same workshop multiple times, or the same workshop once in English and once in Arabic.
- PEAK 2020 sessions are 50 minutes in length.
- Strongly suggested that proposed PEAK presenters’ workshops be approved/supported by their school administration.
- PEAK Presenters have to visit Al-Nibras Schools’ premises to receive their names’ tags and to look at their rooms’ locations and set up on Thursday Feb. 6, 2020 between 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm. They have to bring their laptops, adapter, and USB to test the equipment for presenting during PEAK 2020.
- During PEAK 2020, presenters are responsible for bringing:
1- Laptop with HDMI Port
2- HDMI adapter (if your laptop doesn't have HDMI Port)
3- Copy of the presentation on a USB
4- Presentation Pointer (optional)
- Projectors, smart boards or TV. and Wi-Fi are available in rooms.
- All correspondence regarding the PEAK 2020 and with PEAK 2020 committee will be through your school representative
