In-Person Learning for the Entire School

As announced earlier this week, NIS will open all grade levels for in-person learning from Monday, December 13, 2021. It is a government requirement for all students to complete an ATK screening before returning to school for in-person learning (with the exception of Grade 6, 9, and 12 who have already tested). This is the saliva screening test – please see the video below:

While doing the ATK screening, you must take 2 photos:

1) Photo of the student doing the ATK screening

2) Photo of the test result

Please upload the photos to the Google Form that corresponds to the student's grade level by 12:00pm on Sunday, December 12, 2021:

The instructional day begins from 9:00am.

Drop-off and Healthcare Screening will begin from 8:00am.

Pick-up begins promptly at 3:40pm

Campus closes by 4:00pm.

We will continue to follow all protocols and procedures outlined in this policy document in order to ensure that your child can confidently learn in a safe environment.

As per existing school policy, online learning is available for those with the specific requirements as follows:

- COVID diagnosis

- Being required to self-isolate due to being in contact with a confirmed positive case

- Parent choice.

This information must be communicated by parents to the Main Office (mainoffice@nis.ac.th). The Main Office will then inform the teachers and will continue to follow up with you on the health status of your child and other family members, possibly in partnership with the local health authority.

In-Person Learning Resumes for Grades 6, 9 & 12

We are so pleased to be able to welcome your child back to in-person learning on Tuesday, December 7.

As per existing school policy, students are required to come to school for in-person learning when the government permits. Online learning is available only for specific students with a COVID diagnosis OR being required to self-isolate due to being in contact with a confirmed COVID positive case. This information must be communicated by parents to the Main Office (CCed above). The Main Office will then inform the teachers and will continue to follow up with you on the health status of your child and other family members, possibly in partnership with the local health authority.


ATK screening and reporting will be required prior to attending school on Tuesday. We will send you an email with instructions and the Google Form on Monday morning, December 6.

We will continue to follow the protocols and procedures outlined in the NIS COVID-19 Policy & Health Protocols in order to ensure that your child can confidently learn in a safe environment.
