Free access to more than 200 online courses related emerging technologies, including data science, AI, big data, cloud computing and blockchain.

Laptop Bank

Ten laptops are available in the department to share with the needy students during their course here. These laptops are sponsored by alumni members of the department.

Skill Sharing Courses

This program is intend to give basic skills for day to day life. This course cover basics of electric wiring, plumbing, switching and basic trouble shooting of electronic devices .

Communication Skills Course.

This short tern course helps students to improve your professional communication in English for successful business interactions. This course focuses on area of communication in English: writing emails, speaking at meetings and interviews, and giving presentations.

R for Data Science

This course covers foundational data science tools and techniques, including getting, cleaning, and exploring data, programming in R, and conducting reproducible research. Students who complete this specialization will be prepared to take the Data Science: Statistics and Machine Learning specialization, in which they build a data product using real-world data.

SAS onDemand

This course is for students who want to learn how to write SAS programs to access, explore, prepare, and analyze data. It is the entry point to learning SAS programming for data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. It is a prerequisite to many other SAS courses.

Microsoft Power BI

Short term course on business intelligence platform aggregating, analyzing, visualizing and sharing data

Mini Projects

Students are encouraged to take mini projects on topics of their interest with real life data set. The details of completed projects are included in the hyperlink.

Collaborative learning

Department signed AoU with two foreign Universities to under take joint projects for collaborative learning .

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is free for including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams, Power BI plus additional classroom tools.
